Bowling - Balloch
An easy cycle from Bowling to Dumbarton and on to Balloch at the south side of Loch Lomond.

This almost entirely off-road route takes you along the west side of Loch Lubnaig and is a big favourite with families and others looking for a quiet cycle.

Lochgilphead - Crinan
The shipping shortcut of the west coast, the Crinan Canal, is a delight for cyclists of all ages. Dark peaty waters fill this wide canal which links the Atlantic with Loch Fyne.

Bridge of Oich to Fort Augustus
Those with an aversion to hills will love this flat route which follows the Caledonian Canal from the head of Loch Oich to Fort Augustus.

Fort William to Gairlochy
Explore the western end of the Great Glen along the banks of the Caledonian Canal. This is a great family-friendly cycle with marvellous views of the north face of Ben Nevis.

The Formartine and Buchan Way
The route travels along the former Formartine and Buchan railway in Aberdeenshire. This fairly level cycle path starts in Dyce and continues up to Maud where the route splits and you have the choice of taking a northern route to Fraserburgh or an eastern route to Peterhead.

Jedburgh - Lilliesleaf Circular
A hilly but enjoyable ride through the Scottish Borders, starting at Jedburgh and taking you west through Denholm, Lilliesleaf and Ancrum.

Tranters Traverse
Very challenging linear route that begins at Croy Rail Station, takes you on a mix of minor roads, A-roads and hill tracks, with a 2.5 mile section of rough un-rideable moorland to give it a little flavour. A great day out for those riders who love moorland, bog and an incredibly fast descent.

Inverness to Dingwall
A 14-mile cycle from the centre of Inverness to Dingwall on a combination of cycle track and quiet roads. Highlights are crossing the Kessock Bridge, the Seal and Dolphin Centre at North Kessock and the rolling landscape, seascapes and open skies of the Black Isle.

Oban – Glencruitten – Ganavan Circuit
The route heads up from the centre of Oban and along a quiet farm road through Glencuitten to near Connel. Head along the A85 for 1.5 miles to Dunbeg, where you join the cycle path to Ganavan and then round the coast back to Oban. The route can be done in either direction.
