Prestatyn to Dyserth
This short route follows a railway path inland and provides some stunning views across the North Wales coast.
Starting at the former Offa’s Dyke centre on National Route 5 the ride takes you into Prestatyn and passed the railway station before it joins the former mineral railway that leads to Dyserth.
The route is well used by locals as links are provided into all the surrounding areas, but stay on the main path as it makes a steady climb towards the village of Melidan. Once you have past the golf club you reach a viewing point with wonderful views across Prestatyn and Rhyl with the coast and the mountains of Snowdonia in the background.
The route continues along the railway path until it reaches the road and a short hill climb is required to take you into the village of Dyserth.
